Creative Controls founder Roby Price has over 35 years experience in custom low voltage controls for audio visual and exhibit applications, and is a licensed low voltage contractor in the State of Georgia. He is an Industrial Engineering graduate of Georgia Tech and worked 3 years for Western Electric as an Industrial Engineer.

In 1972 Roby joined the family exhibit business and for the next nine years did all the electrical and control design and construction as well as exhibit design and account management (in the exhibit business you have to do everything).

When Tech Electronics was established in 1980, Roby was hired as the first employee. At that time Tech Electronics was primarily into custom control systems for audio visual installations, but projects also included prison door controls, annunciation systems, and control systems for a number of MARTA stations. During the next 17 years, Roby was involved in the design and implementation of all Tech Electronics products.

In 1998 Creative Controls was established to provide specialized products and services utilizing Roby's talents and experience.
